Erasmus in UK-day 3

Yesterday we had a successful visit to the Birmingham Science Museum (Think Tank) where the children were able to learn about the importance of recycling and different recycling methods such as how tin cans are melted down and re-used. We even had the opportunity to recycle items according to their materials ourselves! Afterwards we continued to learn about our natural world and were able to look at a real Triceratops skull, millions of years old. The children particularly enjoyed the Planetarium, where we learnt how to find The North Star and how small the earth is compared to planet Jupiter!

It's been a great week although we have missed not being in Turkey! We wish you all well for the rest of your stay and a safe journey home.

Today we have visited Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, learning about Turkish culture, history and art. The children enjoyed looking at artefacts and playing interactive games in the museum. Tomorrow we will be learning about recycling in Britain and in Europe and the children will have hands on experience in the Science Museum. We've enjoyed looking at your photos, quite jealous we are not with you but looking forward to seeing you and hearing about it in Germany! Anna and Sarah πŸ˜€πŸ˜Ž
